Kuala Lumpur Design Week 2021
Theme: Hibiscus
This is a poster designed for the Kuala Lumpur Design Week 2021. For my key visual, the theme I choose is Hibiscus to show the identity of Malaysia and I also combined type with the image. Hibiscus is Malaysia’s national flower, it can be seen growing in most parts of the country. The five-petal, trumpet-shaped flower comes in a variety of colors and sizes with all-year-round flowers. For the color scheme, I try to take inspiration from the Jalur Gemilang, the national flag of Malaysia to highlight the characteristics of Malaysia.
